Graintouch is a digital drawing application that emulates the tactile warmth of traditional print media. Drawing inspiration from Risograph™ aesthetics, it provides artists with the ability to layer, blend, and create with a nuance reminiscent of real ink—directly on their screens.

BOOL BRUSH

• Features a bold, organic vector brush designed to mimic ink stacking on paper. Users can blend, overlay, knockout, and build complex textures through intuitive strokes, fostering a natural and expressive drawing experience.

PRINT SIMULATION

• Offers a live preview that simulates the appearance of a finished risograph print. The tool effectively captures offset imperfections, layered tints, and the subtle charm inherent to real ink—without the associated mess or complexity.

MINIMAL UI

• Provides a streamlined interface that minimizes distractions, allowing for focused creation. The layout ensures tools feel intuitive and seamlessly integrated into the artist’s workflow.

COLORFUL CONSTRAINTS

• Includes a curated palette of 18 carefully selected inks inspired by Risograph colors. This deliberate limitation encourages creative problem-solving and mimics the authentic experience of mixing inks during a print run.

VECTOR STENCILS

• Enables each layer to become a crisp, resolution-independent stencil. Final artwork can be exported as clean vector files—ideal for scaling, color separation, and direct printing—ensuring accuracy without degradation of quality.
